Excerpt from Himalayan Doctors, a film directed and produced by Andreas Maleta (2007)

Trashi Raftan, a Tibetan doctor from Ladakh, travels every year to the Spiti Valley in the northern-Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. There a friendly family vacates a room in their house for him to stay and see his patients. The small room is the scene of constant coming and going, and this short video clip shows some of the activity, including a consultation with a woman complaining about a pain in her upper back.
